“This property, a short distance from Whitby's heart, balances family-friendly facilities with an appealing pub atmosphere. I noted the availability of flexible room arrangements and a children's menu; the inclusion of practical amenities like free parking supports a relaxed stay, but some rooms facing the road may experience noise. the pub offered a good atmosphere. breakfast was a great experience, with a variety of choices. the staff demonstrated really good friendliness and helpfulness. staff ensured our group of twelve were all served at the same time with hot food.
The room lacked adequate storage. There was limited space for clothes and suitcases. only one chair was available in a double room, with little hanging space.

Satisfactory stay with minor issues

comfortable bed friendly staff unclean room expensive drinks
The room was comfortable. I found the beds to be very comfortable also. The location was beneficial, being close to a pub and shops. I appreciated the friendly staff, especially their advice on bus routes.
Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned . I was surprised by the bar prices. A standard lager and a soft drink cost nearly ten pounds. I did not appreciate being asked to move to the drinks-only area when the eating area was empty.
